Seung Min

Seung Min Baik Kang ‘26

Seung Min is an Economics and History double-major from Guatemala City. He was in Directed Studies his first year, and currently is a part of the Grand Strategy program. He’s spent his summers as a criminal investigator in Brooklyn, as a legal intern at the U.S.-Mexico border, and studying abroad in his parents’ hometown, South Korea. When he is not reading and writing in Andrews Reading Room, Seung Min sings in the Yale Glee Club, watches as many Yale Film Archive screenings as possible, and eats—lots of fruit. After college, he hopes to pursue graduate study in History—or anything that will allow him to work closely with archival materials. One day, he hopes to publish a book! During his sophomore and junior years, he also served as a Peer Liaison at La Casa Cultural, supporting Latine first-years navigate their transition to college. He can’t wait to continue mentoring first-years as a FroCo for the Branford Class of 2029!
